Manchester Jazz Festival is a home-grown celebration of Manchester people and music, bringing the coolest and newest contemporary jazz to the city centre every summer. With gigs throughout each day of the festival, most of which are free, it’s the ideal opportunity to sample new, live music you won’t come across every day.

As cutting-edge as the city’s attitude, committed to championing new ideas from young musicians, and showcasing exciting commissions and collaborations that are unique to Manchester. Bringing the coolest contemporary jazz to the city centre: from African to Brazilian, flamenco to electro, and soul to ska - improvise your summer!
